As part of the implementation of the priority tasks set by the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, another study was conducted to study the current situation at production facilities and further improve the conditions created for workers.

The Working Group, consisting of the Chairman of the United Trade Union and advisors to the Chairman of the Board, visited the Mubarak Oil and Gas Production Department and critically analyzed the production processes, working and living conditions of workers, dormitories and catering facilities at the Ortabulaq and Dengizkuli fields.

During the study, it was noted that the kitchen and women's dormitory buildings in some facilities were in need of repair due to long-term use and did not fully meet sanitary and hygienic requirements. It was also found that the dormitories in the workers' town did not have video surveillance systems, and the quality of mobile communication in some areas was not up to standard.

Strict instructions were given to those responsible to eliminate the identified shortcomings, and the tasks were set to consistently improve the living and working conditions of workers, prepare weekly reports on the work being done, and constantly monitor the implementation of the instructions.

Also, issues of improving sanitary conditions in dormitories, organizing regular disinfection work, providing washing machines and necessary equipment, and strengthening control over the purchase and delivery of bed linen were separately discussed.

In addition, the activities of the militarized part of Uzbekistan and the UNG Medline clinic on the prevention and elimination of open oil and gas wells were studied, and practical proposals were developed to further improve future work.

Creating decent working and living conditions for employees, ensuring their safety and social protection remains one of the priority areas of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
