A festive event was held at Westminster International University in Tashkent to mark the third anniversary of the establishment of the international organization "Chapter Zero Uzbekistan", which operates with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

It discussed issues of improving the corporate governance system, wide implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, managing climate risks, and ensuring corporate transparency and accountability. The latest results of corporate governance monitoring were also announced, and companies that achieved high results were awarded.

According to the monitoring results, Uzbekneftegaz JSC achieved the highest results in terms of corporate governance efficiency. This result is the result of systematic work carried out in the Company to consistently implement international standards of corporate governance, ensure openness and accountability, increase the effectiveness of the supervisory board, and implement ESG principles in management processes.

It is worth noting that "Chapter Zero Uzbekistan", as the first regional organization (Chapter) established in Central Asia, is today one of the active members of the global international network "Chapter Zero Alliance". The organization serves to develop a corporate governance culture in our country, increase the capacity of company supervisory boards, and widely popularize the principles of sustainable development.
