A meeting was held under the leadership of Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, dedicated to the work being carried out in the areas of construction and design, development and examination of estimate documentation, and the implementation of tasks set for construction facilities.
It discussed the implementation of all construction and drilling work in the sector based on approved projects, the revision of regulatory documents, and ensuring a unified approach in the industry.
The meeting, which was held in a critical spirit, analyzed the activities of Neftgaz Engineering LLC and the Construction Department, and noted a number of shortcomings in the organization of cooperation between the designer, customer, and customer services.
The preparation of project documentation and obtaining expert opinions for certain facilities was sharply criticized for not being completed within the established deadlines, for not providing sufficient control over the implementation of tasks, and for the lack of resources in this area.
The results of the timing analysis carried out within the framework of geological exploration and geological technical activities were also considered. The main attention was paid to the fact that additional opportunities were identified for optimizing a number of work processes, reducing time and costs. At the same time, the use of mechanisms not provided for in the project and non-compliance with technological requirements were observed at some facilities, which caused objections.
Following the meeting, specific tasks and deadlines were given to responsible managers to strengthen execution discipline in the construction and design sector, prepare and review design and estimate documentation within the established deadlines, eliminate problems in the execution of contracts, and ensure efficiency at each facility.
