A critical meeting was held at Uzbekneftegaz JSC, dedicated to the activities of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and responsible departments in the areas of petroleum product production, commerce, procurement, localization, digitalization, and information security.

It analyzed the work carried out in these areas, as well as existing shortcomings, unused opportunities, poorly implemented tasks, and low efficiency in some areas.

In particular, it was emphasized that measures should be taken to ensure the uninterrupted supply of high-quality petroleum products to the population, and the need to effectively use existing capacities in the production of petroleum products, ensure the stability of raw materials, and intensify work on accelerating modernization projects was noted. It was noted that in some issues, existing opportunities are not fully utilized, which negatively affects production indicators.

In the commercial direction, specific tasks were set to increase the efficiency of sales of finished products, optimize product residues, and eliminate existing problems in logistics and export processes. Special attention was paid to the issues of fully utilizing existing market opportunities and delivering products to consumers on time. At the meeting, the head of the department was reprimanded for his irresponsible approach to his duties in the sale of finished products.

Instructions were given to those responsible for improving planning and logistics systems for procurement and import activities, eliminating excessive bureaucratic obstacles in procurement processes, and accelerating the implementation of tasks arising from production needs, developing terms of reference, monitoring procurement, and further simplifying the procurement process in general.

Critical opinions were expressed on the work being carried out in the field of digitalization, emphasizing the need to digitally transform production and management processes, accelerate automation projects, integrate the procurement system into trading platforms, and ensure practical results in the implementation of set tasks.

In the area of localization, instructions were given to launch new production projects, increase the share of local content and expand the production of import-substituting products, and implement measures in the field of mechanical repair quickly and qualitatively.
Also, in the area of information security, the creation of a modern protective infrastructure, ensuring the stability of information systems and completing projects related to the sector, and reviewing servers and systems used in the regions were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given to those responsible to eliminate existing shortcomings in a short time, strengthen implementation discipline, increase efficiency in each area, and strictly monitor the implementation of the assigned tasks.
