First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Sukhrob Hamroyev, met with representatives of the head office of one of China's largest financial institutions, the Bank of China, who participated in the International Investment Forum.

The meeting provided detailed information on the financial results achieved by Uzbekneftegaz JSC in recent years, the ongoing transformation processes, the improvement of the corporate governance system based on international standards, and reforms aimed at further strengthening the company's financial stability.

The systematic support provided by the state, the expansion of geological exploration, the increase in hydrocarbon reserves, the increase in production volumes, and the implementation of modern digital management solutions were also presented.

During the negotiations, the issues of financing investment projects of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, supporting import contracts, expanding the volume of bilateral and syndicated credit lines, using hedging mechanisms, issuing panda bonds, and optimizing the debt portfolio were discussed in detail.

As noted separately, the company is prioritizing reducing the cost of debt in 2026, diversifying funding sources, and attracting long-term and affordable financial resources.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached agreements on taking existing cooperation to a new level, jointly financing promising investment projects, and further expanding mutually beneficial partnerships.
