The working group, led by Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, got acquainted with the geological exploration, drilling and production infrastructure development work being carried out at the Ustyurt Gas Production Department.
The working group first visited the pipeline storage facility being built for the Kungrad drilling program. This facility is critical to the quality and continuity of the large-scale drilling operations planned for this year.
The progress of construction work at the facility, the system for receiving, placing, storing and accounting for pipes imported from abroad were reviewed. The Chairman of the Board set clear tasks for those responsible for expediting construction work, effectively organizing logistics processes, and ensuring the quality of pipe storage, including a digital security system.
After that, the working group visited the well site No. 5 at the "Kiziljar" field, which is planned to be drilled by the Chinese company "XIBU". As reported, the preparation of the drilling site has been fully completed, and the main work will begin once the equipment arrives.
During the visit, the geological potential of well No. 1 at the "Kiziljar" field was also discussed. Upon reaching the gas-bearing layer, the authorities were instructed to conduct a thorough analysis of the possibilities of obtaining additional gas flow using directional drilling technology and develop the most optimal technical solutions.
The working group also reviewed the drilling work being carried out at well No. 3 at the Shag'irlik field. The officials informed the Chairman of the Board that the work on the well is being carried out according to the approved schedule and will be completed within the specified time frame.
At the end of the studies, Abdugani Sanginov gave relevant instructions to complete construction and drilling work at all facilities within the specified time frames and with high quality, complete the drilling work that was delayed according to the schedule, effectively use modern technologies, and increase natural gas production volumes through the faster commissioning of promising wells.
